Answer: Lencho had a strong faith in God. The below given sentences shows this:

Answer: The postmaster sent money to Lencho because of his strong faith in God and he didn't want his faith broken. When the postmaster reads Lencho's letter to God, he becomes solemn and does not want to churn his faith and take the plunge to reply to the letter. decides. Answer: Lencho thought that the post office workers have taken the rest of the money because he had asked God for a hundred pesos and the envelope had only seventy pesos, he thought that they have stolen the rest of the money. The irony in this situation is that the post office officials contributed and collected money for Lencho. Still he sees them as crooks and cheats.
